AFTER COMPLETION OF ENDODONTIC THERAPY

The endodontic treatment has now been completed. The root canal system has been permanently sealed. However, the endodontic access is sealed with a temporary restoration and intended to last only a few weeks. A follow-up restoration must be placed to protect your tooth against fracture, decay or contamination of your root canal. Please telephone your restorative dentist for an appointment. At the completion of your therapy a complete report of treatment will be sent to your restorative dentist. If indicated there maybe follow-up examinations (recall appointment) to evaluate the healing progress in our office. This appointment will require only a few minutes and no additional fee will be charged for this check-up visit.
